There is a growing interest in the subject of safety of Polish rail transport. The safety is not only a legal requirement but also a key and indispensable condition of the sustainable development of the rail industry.
An important aspect of the implementation of the safety culture are the activities of public institutions, research institutions, media and other entities related to the broadly understood railway sector These organizations, while carrying out their tasks, will promote the development of the safety culture.
Therefore, the 2nd official meeting on the development of safety culture of the Polish rail transport was held on June 29, 2016 in the Office of Rail Transport. During the meeting nearly 30 new signatories signed a declaration on this issue. They were representatives of carriers, managers, maintenance companies and certification bodies. The Institute of Innovative Technologies EMAG was one of them too.
Signing the declaration begins a new stage of collective work for a safer rail industry.
