A scientist from EMAG became a laureate of the elite competition "Leader"

We are pleased to inform you that our employee – Jarosław Smyła became a laureate of the elite competition "Leader" organized by the National Centre for Research and Development. The scientist will receive nearly PLN 1.2 million for the implementation of his project.

The aim of the project is to prepare a tool for on-line determining the average particle size of flowing coal dust, transported with air in the pipeline of the dust burning system to the burner. Despite various attempts, the world lacks an effective method for continuous measurements of this type of parameter.

The "Leader" competition is addressed to young scientists - representatives of various scientific fields. The main objective of the program is to expand the competence of young scientists in independent planning, management and co-ordination of their own research teams, during the implementation of scientific projects whose results can be implemented in business. The program is a unique undertaking on a national scale. It creates a strong foundation for strengthening the competitiveness of Polish science and a new generation of Polish scientists on a European and global scale.

Jarosław Smyła joined the group of our employees - winners of last year's edition of the "Leader" competition, and these were Marcin Bernaś and Grzegorz Debita.
