On Wednesday, January 24th, the Institute of Innovative Technologies EMAG signed a cooperation agreement with the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice in the field of broadly understood cyber security. The purpose of the contract is to combine the innovation and energy of scientific environment of the Silesian University of Technology with infrastructure, potential and knowledge of EMAG’s scientists.
The agreement covers the following areas of cooperation:
- Information security management,
- Development and evaluation of ICT security,
- IT solutions against social exclusion,
- IT localization systems.
The scientific and technical cooperation will concern the acquisition of funds for joint (also with other consortium members) project implementation and mutual support in the implementation of research and service works. Students from the University will benefit from internships and apprenticeships as well as participation in classes in specialized laboratories of EMAG. EMAG’s employees will be able to participate in implementation doctorates supervised by the University.
We believe that combined environments will allow to create a capital of knowledge. We hope that thanks to the cooperation, the knowledge, experience and potential of both partners will be fully used in joint ventures and projects.
