This year, as decided by the Jury of the innovative solutions contest that accompanies Katowice 2015 Fair, the two solutions entered by the EMAG Institute were awarded.
The Medal of the 2nd degree, in the “safety improvement” category, was awarded to the intrinsically safe system X-MAN for monitoring and analyzing parameters in the mining longwall area. The system was developed in the EMAG Institute in cooperation with the EMAG-SERWIS company and implemented by the Centre of Technology Transfer EMAG.
The Medal of the 3rd degree, in the “innovative technologies” category, was awarded to the autonomous control and measurement set AZRP. The solution was developed in the EMAG Institute in cooperation with the SEVITEL company.
The Contest ”Innovative Solutions in Development of Mining Machinery and Devices” is organized by Polska Technika Górnicza S.A. (Fair organizer) and accompanies the International Fair of Mining, Power Industry and Metallurgy Katowice 2015, that is held in Katowice every two years.
